What is GDPR

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, EU 2016/679) is a European Union legal act that entered into force on 25 May 2018. It establishes a uniform personal data protection standard across the entire EU. The UK retains an equivalent framework through the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Right of Access
Obtain confirmation of data processing and a free copy of your data.

"Right to be forgotten" - request the deletion of data where there is no legal basis for its storage.

Request the suspension of processing while a dispute or violation is being examined.

Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable (JSON/CSV) format.

Right to Object
Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.

Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing).

The right to human review and to contest automated decisions.
§ 03

How to Submit a Request

To exercise your GDPR rights, proceed as follows:

Send an Email

Write to info@xda.lv with the subject line "GDPR Request".

Specify the Request Type

Clearly indicate which rights you wish to exercise (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) and regarding which data.

Identification

We may request proof of identity to prevent unauthorised access to other persons' data.

You Will Receive a Response

We will respond within 30 days of receiving the request. In complex cases, the deadline may be extended by 60 days, of which we will inform you.

All requests are processed free of charge. In cases of manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, we are entitled to charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act.

§ 04

Response Deadlines and Exceptions

The GDPR requires the controller to respond within 1 month (Art. 12). In complex cases, the deadline may be extended to up to 3 months, with notification of the reason for the extension.
